Anna Hazare is on fast unto death since 16th August. The support he has received is phenomenal.
Without a doubt, Indians is fed up of the corruption in the country. The Jan Lokpal bill empowers Indian citizens against corrupt people in government offices. The Jan Lokpal bill has 71 clauses that will screw every corrupt government servant right from clerk to the Prime Minister and the Chief Justice of India. The people who have drafted the Jan Lokpal bill have a strong background which proves their ability in such matter.
Anybody dare doubt the ability of these best minds in India. Yes, the less learned people in the parliament, some of whom have failed their Class 10th board exams have dared not accept the clauses set by the Jan Lokpal bill.
Before the Jan Lokpal, there was the Right To Information (RTI) act that started to screw the corrupt politicians in the country. The government wanted to modify it, to enable government officials to earn lumps of money. Anna Hazare went on a fast against such action. On 12th day, the government agreed and the RTI was not modified. That’s the power the people in the country have. The power of common man has been witnessed by people all over the world. Recent times have seen many protests around the globe against unjust governance showing the piteous nature of the governance.
